The unique Swing, Rack & Lock kettlebell positions (below) form a wide range of compound motions (roughly a mix of dumbbell and Olympic lift training) that you combine into a variety of fast, effective "Old-School" workouts that challenge your strength, cardio and flexibility. No bench or power-rack needed - just grab and go!

SWING

Kettlebell Swings are a great motion for the posterior chain -hips,hams and back. At high reps they are a workout in themselves

Swings

The fundamental kettlebell motion is the "swing".

One Handed Swings

The one-handed swing combines is the base move of the snatch.

RACK

You can swing heavier kettlebells into the rack (crook of your bent arm) than you can curl, and (unlike dumbells) comfortably perform lunges and front squats with weights you respect- and no power rack needed.

Kettlebell Clean

The kettlebell clean is similar to the olympic lift motion in that it emphasizes the hip snap to varying degrees.

Front Squats

Kettlebell front squats, like barbell front squats are a great exercise for the quads.

Kettlebell Snatch

The kettlebell snatch is a challenging intermediate motion often used in competition.

LOCK

Kettlebells lockout and balance overhead easily. You can focus during heavy overhead squats and Turkish Getups .

Overhead Squat

The Kettlebell overhead squat requires independent balance and stabilization.

The functional carryover to sports , recreation and general fitness is wonderful!

Turkish Getups

There's a story that the Turkish getup was used as a screening test for apprentice strongmen- basically , " come back when you can do a 100lb TGU with either hand".

Roundups

Two bodyweight exercises that are wonderful complements to kettlebell training are pullups and pushups. Here's an interesting flavor of pushup that lets you dial in a fairly high level of difficulty.

The Kettlebell Bottoms Up Press (BUP) is a fun, challenging kettlebell motion; You hold an inverted kettlebell by the handle - balancing and pressing up at the same time.
